THE BECOMING A BOOK PROJECT (a freebee for your students!)
Both teachers and Library Media Specialists recognize the value
of connecting students with authors. Following an author visit, children
often exhibit a renewed interest in reading and writing. While I
love to visits schools (and hope you’ll invite me!), I am also excited to connect with students long distance, through the publishing
of my Becoming a Book Project —my Piggy-grams! These monthly downloadable “fun
pages” are free for you to copy and distribute to your kids.
Each Piggy-gram will contain information on what I am doing as an
author, where my book is in production, trivia, puzzles, study
tips, crafts, and more! I hope you’ll consider making your school a part of the 500+ schools who are now a part
of the Becoming-A-Book Project!
NEW OFFERING: I would be happy to email you a link to the latest Piggy-gram to you at the beginning of each month. If that sounds helpful, send your email address to me at lkstanek1290@yahoo.com, and I'll add you to the list. (I will NEVER pass your address on to anyone!) Please title the email "piggy-gram" to make it easier for me to sort. Thanks!
